Ever heard of CBT?

Computer Based Training is
the latest development to break into the multimedia arena. It will
never (in our opinion) break the one-to-one advantage of direct
on-site training, but it does have its advantages.

Its market is big and getting
bigger.

It provides a consistent approach to
giving your staff the correct training in a package that is specific
to the way you want things done.
- It provides a level of training
that allows the trainee to progress at a level that is both suitable
to his or her own pace. It can be used over and over again by
new people at no extra cost. Once you own the product, it is yours
to use as you wish.
- It is interactive. It allows users
of the software to test themselves (or be tested by the package)
before advancing on to the next phase, thus discouraging them
from progressing further before they are ready. This saves both
time and money from both the employers and the from the employees
point of view.
- Training can be repeated as often
as needed to accomplish the necessary level of understanding.
It can be used as a refresher course where required.
- Elements of the training can be
modified when things change, keeping the basic package of the
CD-ROM in
its original format and changing only those parts of the package
which require modification.
- It's cheaper. No doubt about that
one.
